Internal and external displacements in Bernardo Atxaga´s <i>The lone woman</i>>

The intention of this article is to demonstrate that the novel titled <i>Those skies</i> by Bernardo Atxaga narrates the displacement experienced by the main character in the novel, Irene, and that it is a text that can thus be considered diasporic. For Irene, coming home means feeling in exile within her own country. This is precisely, what we shall argue by means of an analysis of the "heterotophies" in the novel (cf. Michel Foucault).>
